वेज बोर्ड लागू करने की निगरानी के लिए तमिलनाडु सरकार ने स्पेशल सेल बनाया

Special cell soon to monitor implementation of Wage Boards for journalists
Chennai : The Tamil Nadu Government will create a special cell to monitor the implementation of Wage Boards for working journalists and non-journalist newspaper employees based on the recommendations of Majithia Wage Boards, says a State Government order.
The creation of the special cell was based on a request from the Union Ministry of Labour and Employment to State governments in March last year to create special cells to oversee the progress of the implementation, to constitute a Tripartite Monitoring Committee and gear up the State labour enforcement machinery to ensure speedy and prompt implementation of the recommendations of the wage boards.
The Centre had already notified the recommendations of the Majithia Wage Boards, which is subject to the decision of the Supreme Court of India in a writ petition.
After careful examination, the State Government decided to implement the recommendations of Majithia Wage Boards for Working Journalists and Non-Journalist Newspaper employees, the order issued by the Labour and Employment Department says.
