TRAIN SERVICES OBSTRUCTED

Kolkata: Tuesday, August 03, 2010 29.

 

Train services at several stations of both Sealdah and Howrah Divisions of Eastern Railway were obstructed from 11.00 hrs to 11.30 hrs today on non-railway cause. Consequently, a number of EMU trains had to be detained en route for about 30 minutes each on an average on different sections of both the Divisions.

 

When the empty rake of 135 Up Sealdah-Rampurhat Passenger was being placed at platform No.6 of Sealdah Station at 11.06 a.m. today, a few passengers hurled stones and damaged the looking glass of the engine. There was no injury to any person for this.
