Reyazul Haque added 18 new photos to the album: Images: Public meeting on The Undying Spirit of Kashmir — with Uzma Falak and Komal Mohite at Tapti Hostel J.n.u.
First JNU administration cancelled the venue booking and tried to stop our tonight's Public Meeting - The Undying Spirit of Kashmir: The question of self-determination. Then ABVP goons tried to stop meeting to start. But despite of cancellation of venue and deployment of JNU security guards to stop the meeting, democratic-progressive students of JNU ensured the meeting to happen at the same venue and all three speakers Arif Ayaz Parrey, Uzma Falak and Sayed A R Geelani spoke at length about the oppression as well as struggle of Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination. It was many hundred progressive-democratic students who stand in solidarity and support in the public meeting and after more than 2 hour long meeting, they went for a long juloos, telling sanghi fascist goons and administration in loud and clear voice that we will fight for our democratic spaces and rights, we will raise voices against every kind of oppression and demand justice and freedom, no matter how much you try to suppress us.
