The West Bengal government will table a bill in the Assembly tomorrow seeking to revoke the Singur lease agreement with the Tatas and take back the land leased to them.
The Singur Land Rehabilitation and Development Bill, 2011 would be introduced, considered and passed by the House, Minister of state for Parliamentary Affairs Manoj Chakraborty told reporters after an all-party meeting prior to the assembly session.
The State cabinet met in the Assembly premises to give final shape to the bill, he said.
The State government earlier decided to bring the bill after dropping an ordinance with the House session pre-poned from June 24 to today.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has said that her government was committed to return the 400 acre to unwilling farmers and the remaining nearly 600 acre for industry.
Stating that the budget session would be brief, Mr. Chakraborty said that after the Governor's customary address, the House would deliberate on the discussion on the motion of thanks to his address on June 15, 16 and 17 before adoption.
Almost all parties attended the meeting convened by Speaker Biman Bandopadhyay who also called a business advisory committee meeting to finalise the modalities of discussion on the Singur Bill.

New govt not to take revenge : WB Governor
The new government in West Bengal will probe corruption in high places and crime against people by the previous regime in the past 34 years, but not adopt the path of revenge and repression, Governor M K Narayanan said on Monday.
In his customary inaugural speech at the beginning of the budget session of the Assembly, Mr. Narayanan emphasised that the government would ensure democratic rights of all political parties, including the opposition.
"My government plans to put end policies of the past curbing rights of the opposition and aims at providing an impartial, efficient and transparent administration, free from nepotism and corruption," he said.
Stating that the government would desist from employing the police for subjugating democratic movements, he said they would be directed to act impartially in upholding democratic rights of the people and freedom of individuals.
The governor said that police would be directed to effectively combat crime so that anti-social forces did not interfere in law and order.
On political prisoners, he said "my government aims at streamlining measures to speed up cases of political prisoners in the State and a move in this direction has already been initiated."
The Governor said that the voters had given a decisive mandate reflecting political predilections and maturity.
"They voted against the policies and activities pursued by previous government which had been in office for the last 34 years.
"The verdict was in favour of a change with the object of forming a government of Ma, Mati, Manush," he said.
"My government see this as an opportunity to allow the forces of democracy, a far fuller rein, end the fear of oppression and terror and rebuild a ruined economy. My government seeks cooperation from people."
Mr. Narayanan said democratic organisations functioned under heavy odds during the past 34 years. Democratic rights and citizen's freedom were often jeopardised.
"The new government is committed to restore democracy through good governance."
Earlier, CPI(M) leader and party's whip in the House Abdur Rezzak Mollah displayed a poster reading 'Homeless should be allowed to return' when the Governor entered the House.
