Saudi Arabian authorities have sentenced Ali Mohsen al-Aqili (picture) to three months in jail for displaying pro-Hezbollah slogans on his vehicle.

Saudi authorities have arrested a young citizen for writing slogans on his car in support of the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah, sentencing him to three months in jail.

Ali Mohsen al-Aqili, 28, was arrested last Saturday in the Saudi island of Tarut in Eastern province and was sent to a prison in city of Qatif, human rights sources told al-Rased news agency.

Back in August, Aqili was booked by a police patrol during a ceremony celebrating the birthday of second Shia apostle, Imam Hassan (PBUH).

He also spent 11 days in prison on similar charges during the holy Muslim month of Ramadan.

In November, Saudi security forces also arrested Samir Ahmad al-Hamadi, 35, on charges of hanging a picture of Hezbollah Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah in his office at al-Ahsa governorate.

Saudi authorities have been arresting citizens in al-Ahsa and Qatif over voicing or displaying support for Hezbollah ever since the movement's victory over Israeli forces after the Tel Aviv regime waged a massive war on southern Lebanon in the summer of 2006 with the declared intent of taking out the popular Lebanese resistance movement.
