    Aamir Khan and Doordarshan have been defaming the Indian Bus Conductors and Drivers at the national and international levels in an advertisement that is supposedly promoting tourism through Doordarshan's TV channels. The Bus Conductors, Bus Drivers and Tourist Companies can charge him and Doordarshan with the crime of defamation.

 

    We have been regularly seeing the idiotic advertisement on DD channels which shows a bus leaving behind a foreign lady tourist stranded in a deserted place in the mountains. The bus does not stop in spite of the lady tourist running after it while shouting and crying at the top of her voice.

 

    The advertisement clearly suggests that the Bus Conductors and Drivers of India are callous cheats who are ready to rob the passengers by driving away with their luggage containing costly clothes, jewellery, passport, foreign exchange, etc. The foreign tourists left stranded on the mountains can also get killed for money and kidnapped for ransom. The stranded female tourists can get raped and even be forced into prostitution.

 

    Will the foreign tourists ever think of coming to India if they see the advertisement and realize that the Bus Conductors and Drivers can carry away their luggage with costly clothes, jewellery, passport and foreign exchange, to leave them stranded in dangerous and deserted places? 

 

    The Tourism Department and Doordarshan are absolutely crazy when they think that such an advertisement can attract more foreigners to visit India as tourists. The advertisement suggests that many Indians are thugs and cheats who are always waiting, and even planning, for opportunities to rob the unwary tourists especially of foreign origin. Will Aamir Khan ever like to be called a member of any criminal gang of thugs and cheats in real life? How did Aamir Khan ever agree to become a part of such an idiotic and defamatory advertisement? How many crores of rupees did Aamir Khan get for his role in such an extremely stupid advertisement?

 

    Aamir Khan should now worry about safeguarding his own reputation.
