Where is Anna Hazare and Where is Ramdev?

The blue-eyed CM Nitish Kumar's state police killed innocent villagers. The villagers were protesting against the blocking of a connecting road between two villages at Forbesganj block of Araria district Bihar.

Anna and Baba should stop their saffron drama. They never speak out against the RSS and BJP backed corruption or atrocities !!!

Sometimes, thankfully, one does not need to write an over-long post to make a point.

Everybody knows how the entire television media has been giving enormous airtime to BJP and its allies giving vent to their outrage on the condemnable police action on Baba Ramdev's 'Yoga Camp' in the Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi. One woman, named, Rajbala is still seriously injured. No casualties have been reported so far.

Though it must be said that Acharya Balkrishna, Baba Ramdev's right hand man, seems to have had the pitch of his voice transposed a few octaves higher, giving his heartfelt statements at press-conferences the timbre of a dulcet castrati. I suppose, depending on how you look at the fate of Acharya Balkrishna's vocal cords and other organs, that is a casualty.

Meanwhile, worthies like Nitish Kumar and Narendra Modi – Anna Hazare's two poster boy chief ministers have expressed outrage at the police excesses, and rightly so. Here (in the video below) is Mr. Good Governance, Nitish Kumar expressing his indignation. If you search, you will also find Mr. Modi talking about Ravanlila at the Ramlila Ground. For now, lets stick to the nice, amiable, secular-sounding, clean Mr. Nitish Kumar and his resurrecting Bihar.

It just so happens, that on the 3rd of June, a day before  when the Great Ramdev Circus began unfolding at the Ramlila Ground in Delhi, and two days before the 'police excesses' condemned by the BJP, six people of Rampur and Bhajanpur villages of Forbesganj block in Bihar's Araria District, including two women and a six month old infant were fired at and killed by the Bihar Police at point blank range.

They had to be killed, understandably, because they had assembled to protest against a land gab by the Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority with a view to transfer the land to company called Auro Sundram International  for the purpose of setting up a Glucose factory. The land grab effectively cut off access to the only road connecting the two villages, as the building of a four lane highway (with many speeding vehicles) had already made travel to and from the village unsafe for pedestrians and cyclists.

The villagers had assembled peacefully, demanding that either the road be restored to them, or that a commitment be given that they would be provided with a new link road. However, none of them had threatened to go on a hunger strike. They had no Baba leading them. They were not protesting against black money in foreign accounts, and according to reports, the majority of them had Muslim sounding names. Clearly, the loss of six such lives, at least in Bihar, can never be considered 'an excess'.

Incidentally, "one of the directors of the Auro Sundram International Company is Saurabh Agarwal, son of BJP MLC Ashok Agarwal.".

After seeing this video I have come to the conclusion that this qualifies as an example of 'police moderation' and 'good governance' as practiced in BJP ruled states of the Union.

Not surprisingly, while the bruises of the ladies and gentlemen who accompanied Baba Ramdev on his mission have had a great deal of traction and airtime, the six dead villagers of Rampur and Bhajanpur, who had gathered in search of their lost road, did not break any news.

Perhaps they were too broken already. Work on the Auro Sundram International Glucose Factory is continuing. Nitish Kumar has ordered a judicial enquiry into the incident.

Stringent Punishment must for the Crazy Cop Sunil Kumar Yadav:

"Law and order would be maintained at all costs. The guilty would not be spared in the larger interest of a conductive industrial climate in the state. We are looking into all the details of the incident." said state home secretary Amir Subhani to the media persons in Patna.

On Saturday some regional TV channels of Bihar highlighted
the brutality and madness of Forbesganj cop in a blood curdling footage of Bhajanpura village of Forbesganj police firing incident in which a cop was kicking on an unconscious young Muslim man Mustafa with his heavy boots.

After police firing he was lying unconscious in the field of the incident.The crazy cop Sunil Kumar Yadav a homeguard constable of fire brigade was shown kicking him hard with boots and even jumping on his head and hands till death.The signs of cop's brutality were clearly shown from his forehead in the TV footage.
That corpse of the unfortunate police atrocities was wearing a white full shirt and blue trousers.Due to media's pressure the killer cop Sunil Kumar Yadav was arrested under section 302 of IPC.

This horrible blood curdling incident took place on 3rd June 2011, at the site of Rs 130 crore project of maize starch,liquid glucose and captive power plant on the land of Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority(BIADA)in Bhajanpura village of Forbesganj block in Araria district of Bihar.

The farmers of Rampur and Bhajanpura village were demanding a
road from the factory campus.Majority of these two villages are muslims.They are mostly poor jute laborors.They were protesting against blockade of the connecting road between the two villages for a factory.The police not only opened fire on the protestors but chased them to their homes,entered in and killed even women and infant from pointblank.

In protest an irrate mob of villagers assembled at the site torched several JCB machines,tractors,demolished boundary wall of the plant and also damaged vehicles of the police and the sub divisional magistrate.

After police intervention six people including two woman and a minor boy died in the police firing from pointblank.While the state government claims that four people were killed.The clash left 27 cops and five other farmers injured including magistrate and the SP.

ന്യൂദല്‍ഹി: പൊലീസിന്റെ വെടിയേറ്റ് പ്രാണന്‍ നഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നതിനിടയില്‍ ഉച്ചത്തില്‍ 'കലിമ' ചൊല്ലുകയായിരുന്ന മോനെ നിര്‍ത്താനാവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് പൊലീസ് തല്ലിച്ചതച്ചുവെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞപ്പോഴേക്കും ആമിന ഖാതൂന്റെ കണ്ഠമിടറി. കൂടുതല്‍ ചോദിച്ച മാധ്യമപ്രവര്‍ത്തകരോട് ഇപ്പോഴും പൊലീസ് ഗ്രാമത്തിലുണ്ടെന്നും എന്തെങ്കിലും പറയാന്‍ പേടിയാണെന്നും പതുക്കെ പറഞ്ഞ് തഹീറുല്‍ ഖാതൂന്‍ മഹേഷ് ഭട്ടിന്റെ അരികു പറ്റിയിരുന്നു.

ബിഹാറിലെ അറാറിയ ജില്ലയിലെ ഫോബിസ്ഗഞ്ചില്‍ പൊതുവഴി കൈയേറുന്നതിനെ എതിര്‍ത്ത് പ്രക്ഷോഭത്തിനിറങ്ങിയ ഗ്രാമീണര്‍ക്കുനേരെ ജൂണ്‍ നാലിന് നടത്തിയ വെടിവെപ്പിന്റെ ഇരകളുമായി ചലച്ചിത്ര സംവിധായകന്‍ മഹേഷ് ഭട്ടും സാമൂഹിക പ്രവര്‍ത്തക ശബ്‌നം ഹാശ്മിയും നടത്തിയ വാര്‍ത്താസമ്മേളനം പൊലീസ് നടത്തിയ അതിക്രമത്തിന്റെ ചിത്രം വരച്ചുകാട്ടുകയായിരുന്നു.

ഫോബിസ്ഗഞ്ചില്‍ നടത്തിയ വസ്തുതാന്വേഷണത്തിന്റെ വിവരങ്ങള്‍ പങ്കുവെക്കുന്നതിനാണ് ന്യൂദല്‍ഹിയില്‍ ഇരുവരും ഇരകളോടൊപ്പം ചേര്‍ന്ന് വാര്‍ത്താസമ്മേളനം നടത്തിയത്. കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടവര്‍ക്ക് പത്തു ലക്ഷം രൂപയും പരിക്കേറ്റവര്‍ക്ക് ഒരു ലക്ഷം രൂപയും വീതം നഷ്ടപരിഹാരം നല്‍കണമെന്ന് ഇരുവരും ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു. ശനിയാഴ്ച രാവിലെ യു.പി.എ അധ്യക്ഷ സോണിയ ഗാന്ധിയെ കണ്ട ഇവര്‍ തിങ്കളാഴ്ച മനുഷ്യാവകാശ കമീഷനെ കണ്ട് പരാതി നല്‍കും.

ഗര്‍ഭിണിയും ആറു മാസം പ്രായമുള്ള കൈക്കുഞ്ഞുമടക്കം അഞ്ച് ഗ്രാമീണരെയാണ് പൊലീസ് വെടിവെച്ചു കൊന്നതെന്ന് ആമിന ഖാതൂന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. ബി.ജെ.പി നേതാവായ ഉപമുഖ്യമന്ത്രി സുശീല്‍ കുമാര്‍ മോഡിയുടെ മകന്റെ ഗ്ലൂക്കോസ് ഫാക്ടറിക്കുവേണ്ടി വര്‍ഷങ്ങളായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന പൊതുവഴി കൈയേറിയതിനെതിരെ പ്രക്ഷോഭത്തിലായിരുന്നു ഞങ്ങള്‍. വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച പ്രാര്‍ഥന കഴിഞ്ഞ് സമരസ്ഥലത്തേക്ക് നീങ്ങിയതായിരുന്നു അവര്‍. കൈയേറിയ സ്ഥലത്ത് അനധികൃതമായി കെട്ടിയുയര്‍ത്തിയ മതില്‍ പൊളിച്ചിട്ടതിന്റെ പ്രതികാരമായി കണ്ണില്‍കണ്ടവരെയെല്ലാം വെടിവെക്കുകയായിരുന്നു -ഖാതൂന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.

പള്ളിയില്‍നിന്നിറങ്ങിയ വേഷത്തിലായിരുന്നു പുരുഷന്മാരെല്ലാവരും. കൈക്കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളുമായി വെടിയേറ്റ് വീണ സ്ത്രീകളെയും കുട്ടികളെയും ലാത്തികൊണ്ടടിച്ച പൊലീസ് വീടുകളില്‍ കയറി കണ്ണില്‍കണ്ടതെല്ലാം തല്ലിയുടച്ചുവെന്നും ആമിന പറഞ്ഞു.

എല്ലാവരും ബാബാ രാംദേവിന്റെ ഉപവാസം ആഘോഷിക്കുന്ന സമയത്താണ് തങ്ങള്‍ ഫോബിസ്ഗഞ്ചില്‍ തെളിവെടുപ്പിന് പോയതെന്ന് മഹേഷ് ഭട്ട് പറഞ്ഞു. സച്ചാര്‍ കമ്മിറ്റി റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് പ്രകാരം മുസ്‌ലിംകള്‍ പട്ടികജാതി വിഭാഗത്തേക്കാള്‍ മോശമായ സാമൂഹികാവസ്ഥയില്‍ കഴിയുന്ന ജില്ലയാണ് ഫോബിസ്ഗഞ്ച് ഉള്‍പ്പെടുന്ന ബിഹാറിലെ അറാറിയയെന്ന് ഭട്ട് തുടര്‍ന്നു. ഇത്തരമൊരു പ്രദേശത്തെ മനുഷ്യരെ ഇവ്വിധം കൊന്നൊടുക്കിയാണോ ന്യൂനപക്ഷ ക്ഷേമം നടപ്പാക്കുന്നതെന്ന് മഹേഷ് ഭട്ട് ചോദിച്ചു. പൊലീസ് വര്‍ഗീയവത്കരിക്കപ്പെടുമ്പോള്‍ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി നിധീഷ് കുമാര്‍ പുലര്‍ത്തുന്ന മൗനം ദുരൂഹമാണ്. നിധീഷ് കുമാറിനെ കാണാന്‍ 26 പ്രാവശ്യമാണ് ഫോണ്‍ ചെയ്തത്. ഒരു പ്രാവശ്യംപോലും അദ്ദേഹം പ്രതികരിച്ചില്ല.

ഈ 'നായ്ക്കളുടെ ഗ്രാമം' ജയിലാക്കുമെന്ന് ബിഹാര്‍ ഉപമുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞതിന്റെ പിറ്റേന്നാണ് ഗര്‍ഭിണിയും പത്തു മാസം പ്രായമുള്ള കൈക്കുഞ്ഞുമടക്കമുള്ള ഗ്രാമീണരെ പൊലീസ് വെടിവെച്ചു കൊന്നതെന്ന് സാമൂഹിക പ്രവര്‍ത്തക ശബ്‌നം ഹാശ്മി പറഞ്ഞു. ജൂണ്‍ മൂന്നിന് നടത്തിയ ഒത്തുതീര്‍പ്പ് ചര്‍ച്ചക്കൊടുവിലായിരുന്നു ഈ ഭീഷണി. ഗ്രാമീണരുടെ ശരീരത്തില്‍ പതിച്ച 14 വെടിയുണ്ടകളില്‍ ഒന്നൊഴികെ എല്ലാം അരക്കു മുകളിലായിരുന്നുവെന്നതില്‍നിന്ന് സമരക്കാരെ പിരിച്ചുവിടാനല്ല, കൊലപ്പെടുത്താന്‍ തന്നെയായിരുന്നു ബിഹാര്‍ പൊലീസിന്റെ ഉദ്ദേശ്യമെന്ന് വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നതായി ശബ്‌നം ഹാശ്മി
