Pakistan government must demand the security personnel responsible for killing of innocent Kashmiris in illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir

In order to hide crimes committed by the security forces, the Indian Government is trying to subterfuge the international community's attention towards hoax issues of terror camps whereas it has nothing to do with the relationship between India and Pakistan.  Kashmir is the only core issue which if solved will result in lesser issues automatically being resolved later on.  The deployment of more than 700,000 troops in occupied Jammu and Kashmir by the Indian forces committing atrocities such as 192,685 killings, 215,877 arrests, 110,000 disappearances, 115,665 home demolitions, leaving 122,675 widows and 207,218 orphans. Indian forces have been committing crimes such as rapes, torture and gross human rights violations on the Kashmiri people for the last 64 years and nobody is there to listen to their agony.  Instead India should arrest the security forces responsible who are continuously killing innocent Kashmiris and hand over these criminals to the Pakistani government.

Foremost to any peace negotiations, India must bring an end to all cycles of violence in Kashmir, release political prisoners and revoke the "draconian laws" enforced in the state. India should also restore the right of peaceful association, assembly and demonstrations and let Kashmiri leadership travel abroad without any hindrance.

The implementation of the UN resolutions on Kashmir was the best way to settle the Kashmir issue. Kashmiris believe that tripartite talks could lead to a peaceful settlement of the issue.

The Kashmir dispute is primarily an issue of the right to self-determination of more than 18 million people of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir saying that the habitats of the state have been the worst victims of this deadly conflict.

Kashmiris want peace but peace with dignity and honour. No country whatsoever has the right to decide the fate of Kashmir. The people of Kashmir should be granted the right to determine the political future through a free, fair and impartial plebiscite.

Indeed, the solution of the Kashmir issue will not only give the God given birth right of freedom to Kashmiris but it will also bring peace, harmony and prosperity for the people of both India and Pakistan.

As such, unscrupulous statements will not lead both nations anywhere.Kindly read the following news item from Tribune India of May 29,2011.

Raze terror camps to take ties forward: Antony to Pak
US military aid to Pak being used against us, says Defence Minister

Kannur, May 28
For better relations with India, Pakistan will have to dismantle the terror camps on its soil, Defence Minister AK Antony said on Saturday pointing out that friends can be changed but not neighbours.

Antony expressed concern over the fact that the arms supplied by America to Pakistan in the name of fighting terror in Afghanistan were being used against India. "The US military aid to Pakistan is being used against us. We have brought this to the notice of authorities in Washington," he said.

India's grievance with Pakistan was that about 42 terrorist camps were functioning in that country, Antony told reporters here.

"Without destroying these terrorist camps, it would be difficult to have permanent cooperation in Indo-Pak relations," he said.

Antony said India wants to have good relations with Pakistan. "Dialogue is an important factor. Without dialogue nothing can be achieved," he said. Antony said government's stand was clear that it wants to maintain cordial ties with all its neighbours. "We can change our friends, but we cannot change our neighbours," he said. — Agencies
