By Khademul Islam: There was no land left in Dhaka to play cricket on. Schools had no fields, neighbourhood playing areas had disappeared. No land, no cricket. Where are future players going to come from?
November brought some very special visitors to Drik and to Drik events. Representatives from Google and Rolls Royce were part of an international team of people interested in Social Business. The Prime Minister opened the online banking facility at mid-week which was streamed live by Drik ICT and Drik AV. This was followed by Robert Pledge, one of the most influential figures in photojournalism and the celebrated dancer and choreographer Akram Khan who came with his entire team which included Oscar winners.
