Education board: Hindi compulsory in Class X
Gagan K. Teja/TNS

Patiala, April 4
Reverting their decision of making Hindi an optional subject in Class X, the Punjab School Education Board has once again included Hindi as a compulsory subject at the matriculation level. With this decision, the board has reverted to teach nine subjects instead of introducing the eight- subject pattern of the CBSE. Board chairman Dr Dalbir Singh Dhillon said here today that the decision was taken on directions of CM Parkash Singh Badal.

Dhillon explained that the education board had introduced teaching of eight subjects (with two languages) on the CBSE pattern from this very session, which had also seen the introduction of semester system. But the Punjab government directed that nine subjects should be taught, including teaching of Punjabi, English and Hindi simultaneously. He said the board norms would make the teaching of mathematics, science and social studies compulsory along with physical education, computer science and an elective subject at this level. The evaluation of the last three subjects would be done by the schools themselves in Class X.

This move has been welcomed by various city residents, including government school teachers, who feel that Hindi being the mother tongue, it must be made compulsory for all students.

Supporting this decision, one of the teachers said, "There were arguments that our neighbouring states like Haryana, HP did not make Punjabi compulsory and taught only two compulsory subjects. So why should Hindi be made compulsory in Punjab, but one should understand that Hindi is their mother tongue like Punjabi is in Punjab. It's just a coincidence that it's a national language and thus they don't have to teach the third subject. Therefore, one should not argue on these grounds and accept the fact that Hindi being our national language, it needs to be a compulsory subject."

Dr Awatar Singh Sekhon (Machaki) asks: Whose mother tongue is Hindi?

Waheguru ji ka Khalsa,
Waheguru ji ki Fateh!

The Board Chairman Dr Dalbir Singh Dhillon said "...that the decision was taken on the direction of CM [chief Minister] Prakash S Badal", to make the Mother Tongue of Punjabis, especially of the Sikhs of their Holy and Historic Homeland, Punjab, the Sikh Nation, Khalistan (under the occupation of the 'Brahmins-Hindus devious, divisive, deceitful and apartheid practicing alleged Indian democracy, since 15th August, 1947).

This 'Brahmin-Hindu' in 'The Sikh Identity', Prakash (Hanera/Darkness) Sinh Badal has made himself to be another Aryasamaji, Gulzari Lal Nanda, of the New Delhi administration (NAD) headed by JL Nehru alias Mobark Ali or his servant, in the census of 1960s. The Aryasamaji Gulzarilal Nanda, then Home Minister of the JL Nehru's administration, had asked the Hindus of Punjab to "state their Mother Tongue 'Hindi' instead of Punjabi although they all were Punjabi speaking Hindus. When the census taken place in Punjab, the Punjabi hating people deliberately disowned their mother tongue from Punjabi to Hindi. To the census conducting personnel, "a Punjabi speaking Hindu old lady told her boy (grandchild) "Ja way Mundiya Kah de Sadi Jaban Hindi hai." That was the political game played by the Punjab's Hindus, the Hindus who disowned their mother tongue, PUNJABI. Since that census an imbalance in PUNJABI-speaking people and a pseudo Hindi-speaking citizens was created to increase the percentage of the Hindus' Hindi-speaking people. In 1960s census, Hindus (Aryasamaji, BJP, RSS and likewise) 'DISOWNED' their mother tongue, PUNJABI, which became the language of the Sikhs, who are the followers and members of the 'House of Guru Nanak Sahib'.

Now Prakash (Hanera/Darkness) Sinh Badal, who is one of the person responsible for 'An Undeclared War on the Sikh Nation, PUNJAB, Khalistan (under the occupation of the 'Brahmins-Hindus alleged democracy, since 15th August, 1947) in the form of a brutal military "Operation Bluestar" of June, 1984', has directed the CSBE to make the Hindi Punjab's first language of instruction. This action is once again the 'Betrayal of Punjab' by a turned 'Brahmin-Hindus' in 'The Sikh Identity'. The action of Prakash (Hanera/Darkness) Sinh Badal and his administration's CSBE is anti-Sikh and anti-PUNJAB and to lick the boots of the BJP, RSS and the Hindu Mahasabha (the mother of all evils).
For this action, Prakash (Hanera/Darkness) Sinh Badal and his "joe boys and joe girls", along with the Badal clan and the Akalis of the Badal Dal Private Limited Incorporation must never be
forgiven. It is time that these people be punished for their anti-Sikh and anti-PUNJABI actions.
